Born and raised in the Detroit area, Mr. Brown has more than 30 years of experience in software support, programming and training. His career began after graduating in 1979 from Ferris State University with a BS in accounting and a minor in computer science. His first position was at Wilmark Enterprises, a value-added reseller in Detroit, where he mastered a variety of tasks including custom programming, support and training.

Richard then joined Parameter Driven Software in 1986. After eight years with this nationwide provider of development tools and business applications - the final three as vice president and member of the board of directors - he resigned to form ROI Systems Group, Inc.  ROI has been providing ERP systems to the distribution and manufacturing industries since.  As a partner in Alogic-US, Mr. Brown now brings his years of experience and industry knowledge to further expand the Alogic-US consulting and technical expertise. Currently, he resides with his wife and their two children in Washington Township, Michigan.
